Debbie Bechalany was raised in Boca Raton, FL and graduated from Boca High School. She continued her education at Florida Atlantic University earning a Bachelor’s of Arts in Elementary Education. During her 12 years of teaching in the Palm Beach County School system, she was voted Roosevelt Elementary Teacher of the Year by her peers and was nominated for the Dwyer Award. Debbie holds her ESOL (English as a Second Language) and Gifted Certifications and is a trained Reading Specialist. She began working at #1 Education Place in the Middle School in December 2016 having previously worked there in 2012. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. Her hobbies include reading, attending her children’s sporting events, traveling and leading her daughters’ Girl Scout troops.
