Math Teacher, High School

Joe is a semi-retired high school math teacher who has taught high school math in both the New York City public schools as well as Palm Beach County public schools for a total of 22 years, in addition to having been a part owner of a business in West Palm Beach. He earned his BA degree in Mathematics from Queens College, City University of NY and his MS degree in Math/Education from Adelphi University/ Garden City, NY. Upon retirement from the public schools, he began teaching part time (adjunct instructor) at Palm Beach State College/Gardens campus in January, 2013, and splitting his time with Education Place. He also volunteers his time to homework help at the Village of Wellington Community office one afternoon a week.

Joe and his wife, Holly, have raised two daughters, both speech language pathologists, in Wellington, since 1980. They have 1 granddaughter and 3 grandsons, whom they love to devote much of their attention to. Joe likes to putter around the house and ride his bike when not working, enjoying the Florida weather.
